May 21, 2020

To all of our Victory family, we loved having our doors open this past Sunday for our 9AM and 11AM services! It was awesome to see your faces, get to say HI, and to worship corporately once again!

We wanted to take a moment to try to bring clarity to the guidelines we have set into place here at Victory, so we ask that you take a moment to read this thoroughly.

  • For now, we will continue to broadcast our Friday services @ 7:30PM each week. This is an ONLINE ONLY service.
  • Our 9AM service on Sunday is reserved for our 60 Plus attendees. Doors will open promptly @ 8:30AM. Following the governor’s guidelines, we are doing what we can to create a safe atmosphere for all, but it was recommended by Governor Abbott to provide those individuals who are deemed to be more at-risk with their own service. Please understand, this DOES NOT mean you cannot attend the 11AM service if you are over 60, should you desire to do so. This DOES mean that we are asking those under 60 to make plans for the later service. If you are younger than 60 and have a spouse older than 60, you decide which service you prefer to attend!
  • Our 11AM service is open to all! Doors will open promptly @ 10:30AM.
  • Our nursery, children’s ministry, and youth ministry will remain closed for the time being. Please join us online at 9AM for Happy Church & KidX, and at 9:45AM for youth!
  • Masks are highly recommended, but not required!
  • If you are sick or not feeling 100%, please stay home and join us online @ 11AM!
We are so excited to get back to “normal”, but for the time being, we want to do all we can to ensure your safety while attending our Sunday morning services!

In His Service,
VCC Pastors & Staff

April 28, 2020

In accordance with the latest COVID-19 response from the State of Texas and Governor Abbott, Pastors Tony & Sandy, along with the pastoral staff of VCC, are reviewing the new guidelines put into place on Monday, April 27, 2020 as they pertain to “houses of worship”. Upon prayerful review of these new guidelines, we will post an update to our website, as well as across all social media platforms, letting you know when we plan to resume our regular service schedule on church grounds, and what steps we will be taking to continue to ensure the health & safety of our staff and all those attending church services, once they resume.

We appreciate your patience in this matter, and are continuing to pray Psalm 91 over your household.

April 9, 2020

Please plan to join us ONLINE for Easter Sunday services, at 9AM for our Children’s ministry, at 9:45AM with Pastor Jarred for our Youth, and at 11AM for our main service. At this time, we will continue to follow the recommendations of our local governmental officials by hosting ONLINE ONLY services through the end of April.

Please check back for updates regarding our May 2020 event & service schedule. We will continue to pray Psalm 91 over our congregation.

March 30, 2020

At this time, the pastoral staff of Victory Christian Center will continue to abide by the “Work Safe, Stay Home” policy put into place by our local governmental officials last week. As such, in consideration of President Trump’s statement to extend social distancing through April 30, 2020, we have decided to continue with our Victory Online-only services for the coming weekend, Friday April 3rd and Sunday April 5th. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in our area closely and will post updates to our service schedules here and on all VCC social media platforms.

Please note, all extra-curricular/ministry events for April have been canceled or will be rescheduled to a later date. Also, our Administrative offices will remain closed until further notice.

March 17, 2020

As many of you may have seen on Facebook this morning, Pastors Tony & Sandy have decided to move to an ONLINE ONLY service for the next 2 weeks – Friday @ 7:30PM and Sunday @ 11AM. This means that our doors will be closed to the public. This decision was made to honor the request of our President in limiting organized events to 10 persons or less.

We have many methods available for ONLINE viewing: vcchouston.tv, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube, as well as AppleTV. Simply do a search for VCCHouston or Victory Christian Center, Houston, TX on your platform of choice. You can also go to our homepage at www.vcchouston.org and click on the Victory TV button.

We hope that you will make plans to join us as we worship together!

March 12, 2020

At Victory Christian Center, the health & safety of your family, and our staff, is of the utmost importance. At this time, Victory will be open for our regularly scheduled services, and we are very excited about our annual Embracing His Presence conference, March 26-29th! And while we understand that many are concerned about exposure to viruses, we wanted you to know that we are taking every precaution to ensure that you feel welcome when you walk through our doors each weekend.

So, with this in mind, don’t be surprised when we greet you with a fist bump instead of shaking your hand, or with a smile and a wave, rather than a hug. And if you need prayer, our ministry team will still be available to pray and believe with you for whatever your need might be!

We ask that you use common sense measures to prevent the unnecessary spread of illness by washing your hands thoroughly with soap, utilizing hand sanitizer when it is available, and by staying home when you aren’t feeling 100%. Our live service feed will still be available so that you won’t miss a single moment of what God is doing here in our midst. If you need prayer, feel free to send us an email at prayer@vcchouston.org, or by calling our offices during regular business hours at (281) 587-1110.

We are here, and we care!

Psalm 91:7 “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you.”
